I am an Instructor/Librarian on the Pruitt Campus. I spend much of my working hours answering reference questions, helping students with research, selecting new materials for the library, and researching new educational resources.
I am a proud graduate of IRSC. After earning an A.A. and an A.S. from IRSC, I earned an undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of South Florida and a Master of Information and Library Science from Florida State University.
Originally from New Jersey, I have lived in Port St. Lucie for over 30 years. When I moved to Florida, Port St. Lucie was not on the map, Interstate 95 did not run through the city, and St. Lucie West did not exist. It has been so exciting to watch the city change into a vibrant, growing area.
I enjoy visiting museums and art galleries, exploring Florida beaches, and reading (especially reading at the beach).
